Lamborghini bids the iconic Aventador farewell with its final production model - LP 780-4 Ultimae. This latest and final evolution of the Aventador is the most powerful one ever made.

The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae celebrates the renowned V12 super sports car and its engine by merging the finest attributes of all previous Aventador editions into a magnificent final work.

“The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is the final and greatest expression of a series of V12 super sports cars that has established a new milestone in Lamborghini history,” said Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director for Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific.

With only 350 units available as a coupé, and 250 as a roadster, the Aventador Ultimae is destined to become a timeless classic, striking the right balance between performance and design.

The LP 780-4 Ultimae is fitted with Lamborghini’s flagship twelve-cylinder, 6.5-liter ‘Longitudinale Posteriore' (LP) engine that produces 780 CV. In comparison, the Ultimae produces 40 CV more than the Aventador S and 10 CV over the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

Carbon fibre is plentiful throughout the body, resulting in a dry weight of just 1,550kg. The coupé version weighs 25kg less than the Aventador S and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 355km/h.

The Ultimae, like other Aventadors, will include all-wheel drive and Lamborghini's viciously quick automated single-clutch ISR seven-speed transmission.

It will also get the Aventador S's dynamically steered rear axle, which can respond to steering adjustments in just five milliseconds. Lamborghini also claims that the Ultimae's 720Nm of torque will be distributed more to the rear axle than the S, guaranteeing “sporty but safe oversteer characteristics”. Carbon-ceramic brakes (CCB) will also come as standard.

The Ultimae will also come with 4 drive modes: STRADA, SPORT, CORSA, and a new mode, EGO, which allows the driver to customize their own parameters of the active suspension, traction controls (engine, gearbox and four-wheel drive) and steering.

Subtle Design

The Aventador Ultimae has a similar appearance to earlier Aventador models, but it distinguishes itself with bigger exhaust tips and a more pronounced rear diffuser.

The front fascia also has a more aggressive splitter shape, which helps with downforce on the front axle.

The 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels are standard and are wrapped in Pirelli PZero Corsa rubber.

As mentioned above, only 350 coupés and 250 roadsters will be made for the Ultimae and the owners of these number editions can select up to 18 standard colours.

Their bespoke Lamborghini Ad Personam Programme also boasts an unprecedented range of options and more than 300 colours available for customers.

Unfortunately, pricing is not available at time of writing.
