February COE Results 1st Bidding: Premiums Rise Again Across All Categories
In the 1st COE bidding exercise for February 2022, Cat A closed at $60,761, Cat B at $86,102, Cat C at $44,001 Cat D at $10,010 and Cat E at $87,000
Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) received 819 bids and saw a $2,863 increase from the previous exercise. It closed at $60,761
Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) saw 865 bids and increased by $4,101. It closed at $86,102.
Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) received 149 bids and increased by $1,000. It closed at $44,001
Cat D (Motorcycles) had 555 bids in total and saw an increase of $10. It closed today at $10,010.
Lastly, Cat E (Open Category) received 269 bids and saw an increase of $3,089. It closed at $87,000.

ERP Prices To Increase At Certain Gantries From 14th February 2022

The LTA has completed its latest ERP review, and will raise ERP prices at certain gantries to better 'manage congestion'.
These adjustments are based off of data gathered in January 2022. With the gradual easing of COVID restrictions, the LTA has stated that traffic has built up at certain stretches on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Central Expressway (CTE).

Skoda Launches All-New Octavia RS In Singapore; Priced At S$199,900 Incl. COE

Skoda launched the all-new Octavia RS in Singapore today, with prices set to start from S$199,900 including COE. The new Octavia RS has been given a refresh both inside and out with an updated design and added assistance systems, comfort and connectivity features.
Skoda has retained the 2.0 TSI and 7-speed DSG engine and gearbox combo in the Octavia RS that still produces 245PS and 370Nm of torque, but now with an added focus on efficiency. This means the Octavia RS will go from 0-100km/h in just 6.7s and on to a top speed of 250km/h.
