The Ultimate Guide to Driving into Malaysia: VEP, Road Safety, Driving Etiquette, Accidents

With the borders between Singapore and Malaysia finally reopening, throngs of citizens from both countries alike are filled with anticipation to reunite with their loved ones.

COVID-19 has unfortunately altered much of what we know about travelling aboard, and the process of visiting neighbouring Malaysia is no exception. This is what this article is for, and should hopefully serve as a guide before you make your journey up North.

April 2022 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Significant Price Drops Across All Categories

In the 2nd COE bidding exercise for April 2022, Cat A closed at $68,699, Cat B at $90,002, Cat C at $52,002, Cat D at $9,801 and Cat E at $95,801.

Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) received bids 744 and saw a $4,297  decrease from the previous exercise. It closed at $68,699.

Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) saw 687 bids and decreased by $8,387. It closed at $90,002.

Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) received 181 bids and decreased by $2,899. It closed at $52,002.

Cat D (Motorcycles) had 539 bids in total and saw a $702 decrease. It closed today at $9,801.

Lastly, Cat E (Open Category) received 295 bids and saw a decrease of $4,198. It closed at $95,801.
