EuroSports Officially Unveils Touring Arese RH95 at Exclusive Media Event!
There’s a new limited production Italian supercar in town. And it comes from a marque that the casual car enthusiast probably isn’t familiar with.
That’s because the makers of the Arese RH95 are bespoke coachbuilders, creating handcrafted, low volume specialty vehicles for clients with some seriously deep pockets. This latest iteration represents the next generation of the firm’s AERO range, a design language that was introduced with the Disco Volante Coupé of 2012.
The car sports stylistic features that are a hallmark of the AERO styling, with lines and textures that adds theatricality to a car that is quite possibly the embodiment of art and design in motion. In fact, the Arese RH95 expresses a touch of drama in all its features, and if the novel scissor doors are its most striking expression, every detail is fascinating but subtle. But the peak of the RH95’s design has to be its rear clamshell, which perfectly marries form and function. Designed for optimal airflow in the engine bay, the sleek rear body contours can be described as ‘voluptuous’, bucking the racing-inspired aesthetics present in so many modern supercars. There’s also function to the car’s aforementioned novel scissor doors too; thanks to the scissor-hinged doors and their generous roof cut-outs, ease of passenger compartment ingress/egress is exceptional. Otherwise, overall interior ergonomics, visibility, and the AERO series “cocoon” concept of individual cockpits for driver and passenger give the former a highly usable and comfortable workspace, and the latter a viewing and sensory experience of a lifetime.Under the custom bodywork lies the chassis and the inner workings of a Ferrari F8 Tributo. Touring Superleggera opted to keep the car stock mechanically, though mechanical modifications really weren’t necessary. You’ll find a 3.9 litre turbocharged V8 under the rear clamshell, pushing out a stout 710 bhp, good to propel the car to 100 km/h from a standstill in just three seconds. As is customary with most low volume coachbuilt cars (only 18 Arese RH95s will be built), Touring has a stout list of personalisation options, ranging from a wide array of interior colour and material options, as well as external paint and trim options. No official pricing has been given (prices are on request), but once you do make that payment, Touring Superleggera expects to deliver completed cars to the end customer six months after receipt of the basic (donor) car!
