Category A BYD ATTO 3 Variant Launched by Local Distributor Vantage Automotive

BYD’s award-winning ATTO 3 SUV can now be purchased as a Category A COE vehicle. This new variant is identical to the original car, the only difference being its lower-power motor.

Initially launched in July 2022 with a 201 bhp motor, this latest Cat A-friendly iteration will have 134 bhp, and an estimated 565 kilometres of range on a single charge. It’d complete the century sprint in 9.7 seconds.

The decision to introduce an even greater value package does not come at the expense of the vehicle’s quality and features. The ATTO 3 100kW is packed full of safety and tech features, has excellent battery range and is equipped with revolutionary EV technology like BYD’s blade battery and the e-Platform 3.0.Just like the Cat B variant, the new BYD ATTO 3 100kW will arrive equipped with BYD’s ultra safe 60.5kWh blade battery. There are also no changes to the SUV’s charging time, taking under 45 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% on a 50kW DC charger.

Additionally, all the features like Stop & Go Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control, an in-built Digital Video Recorder, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DiLink Smart Voice Assistant, and the recently launched BYD App are also available with the new BYD ATTO 3 100kW.Aside from this new ATTO 3 variant, two additional cars will join the local BYD lineup later this year, in the form of the BYD Seal and BYD Dolphin.
