Singapore’s only expressway exit located on the right side is being relocated to the left from Sunday, 28 May, 5 am onwards.

Currently, Exit 26A on the Westbound Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas is located on the right side, causing congestion issues as vehicles would have to keep right and use Lane 1, meant for overtaking and emergency vehicles, to exit.

Motorists will now exit on the left side via Rifle Range underpass to head towards Duneran Road / Clementi Road and Upper Bukit Timah Road, in the same direction as before. This will ease congestion for motorists using this stretch of the PIE.

On the same day, the previous Exit 26A will be closed from 12:30 am onwards, so make alternative travel plans if you are travelling between then and the opening of the new exit at 5 am.

Keep a look out for the informational and directional traffic signs that the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be putting out along the PIE to facilitate the relocation.
