In the latest episode of Off The Beaten Track, Malaysia presented by Motorist and supported by DirectAsia, Jad, Beng, and Alista set out on an unforgettable camping adventure at Teluk Gorek Beach, Johor. Their journey was filled with laughter, challenges, and newfound camaraderie as they explored the beauty of nature together.
The adventure began with a scenic drive to Teluk Gorek, where Alista expressed her apprehension about camping, particularly about sand flies. However, with Jad and Beng's reassurance, she decided to embrace the experience, armed with bug spray and a sense of adventure.
Before setting up camp, they made a detour to Mersing Geopark, where they marvelled at the stunning views and learned about the area's volcanic history. After exploring the geopark, they continued their journey to Teluk Gorek Beach, eager to set up camp and unwind.
Setting up the tent proved to be a challenge, but Beng's camping expertise saved the day. With their campsite ready, they enjoyed a relaxing evening by the campfire, playing games and sharing stories under the starry sky.
The highlight of the evening was cooking dinner over the campfire. Despite initial doubts, Alista and Jad embraced the experience, helping Beng prepare a delicious meal of foil packet dinners. The meal was a success, and they savoured every bite, enjoying the unique flavours of outdoor cooking.
As the night drew to a close, they cleaned up the campsite and retired to their tent, grateful for the day's adventures and the bond they had formed. With the sound of the waves in the background, they drifted off to sleep, looking forward to the adventures that awaited them the next day.
