How long have you been a motorist in Singapore?
For over a decade now.
What do you like about motoring in Singapore?
I appreciate the efficient road network and the well-maintained infrastructure. It makes commuting between meetings and appointments much smoother. Additionally, the availability of parking spaces in most commercial areas is quite convenient.
What do you dislike about motoring in Singapore?
The traffic congestion during peak hours can be quite challenging. It sometimes adds extra stress to an already busy schedule, especially if I encounter impolite drivers on the road. The high cost of car ownership in Singapore is also a significant factor to consider.
When did you get your driving licence?
I got it during my college years in Michigan, USA. It was a great experience learning to drive in a different environment.
Remember your first car?
Yes, my first car was a manual BMW 3 Series coupe, which I drove while I was in college. It was a fantastic introduction to driving, and it taught me a lot about car control and handling, especially when it was snowy and icy on most days.
What were your most memorable past cars?
One of my most memorable cars was the orange BMW M5, which had a vibrant colour that matched Ohmyhome’s branding. It was not only visually striking but also a powerful and thrilling car to drive. I loved the music that I had in the car when I was driving it, brought back good memories.
Tell us about your current car.
My daily car is a Toyota Vellfire. With my busy schedule, I appreciate getting from one place to another in a comfortable and low-key car. Combined with family commitments, I appreciate the MPV’s spaciousness, which makes fitting more pax and jamming in luggage a breeze. The automated doors are particularly helpful when picking up my children, making the whole process smoother and more convenient.
In your experience, is the carpark or parking space a factor for most people buying private property?
Absolutely. Adequate parking facilities are a significant consideration for many homebuyers. Convenience and accessibility are crucial, especially in urban areas where parking can be a challenge.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy the dynamic nature of my work and the opportunity to innovate within the real estate industry.
