Motorist Singapore fundraiser helps animal welfare charity Causes For Animals

The $3,933.76 fund for our furry friends was raised from Motorist’s sale of 297 T-shirts and 102 decals to supporters who love both animals and motoring. 

Both items were limited editions specially created by the Motorist design team. The shirt marks the upward trajectory of COE premiums, while the car window decal represents The Motorist Code, which encourages drivers to be respectful on the road and helpful to others.

The same spirit of helping others - stray or abandoned dogs and cats in this case - drove this Motorist initiative, which raised almost $4,000 to assist Causes For Animals.

In a simple yet meaningful ceremony, Motorist deputy CEO Angela Poh presented the final amount of $3,933.76 to Causes For Animals Singapore (CAS) at The Animal Lodge in Sungei Tengah, with CAS co-founder and fundraising coordinator Christine Bernadette accepting the donation on behalf of the organisation. 

The money will be used to cover medical bills for the helpless creatures under the care of Causes For Animals, whose activities include responsible animal adoption, management of strays islandwide, and community engagement. 

Since its founding in 2013, Causes For Animals has rehomed more than 700 dogs and cats.
