Vehicular access to the roads listed above during the stipulated periods will be limited to authorised vehicles, including those from the police force and emergency services. Police officers, security officers and traffic marshals will be deployed at the affected road junctions to direct motorists and assist further if required.

Parking restrictions along the affected roads will be strictly enforced, and vehicles parked illegally or causing obstruction will be towed away.

The authorities advise motorists to plan their journeys in advance and avoid these closed roads.

Motorists should also note that driving routes into the Civic District on the roads which remain open are likely to be congested during the NDP period from August 8 evening till August 10 morning, although the public-holiday long weekend should mitigate this city traffic congestion.

Motorists may contact the organiser at 1800-6372024 for more information.
