February 2019 COE Results: Car Premiums End Mostly Higher in Latest Bidding Exercise

For the 1st bidding exercise for February 2019, COE results ended mostly higher for cars. Cat A closed at $25,689, Cat B rose to $34,509, while Cat E ended at $35,310.

With 2,371 bids received, the Quota Premium (QP) for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) dropped by $481, from $26,170 to $25,689.

Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) received 1,937 bids and closed at $34,509, a $520 increase from the previous exercise.

For Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus), the Quota Premium went up by $148, from $26,230 to $26,378.

Cat D (Motorcycles) also experienced an increase in prices. Going up by $820, the COE prices went from $2,889 to $3,709.

Lastly, for Cat E (Open category), it received 545 bids and saw the largest increase of $1,621, from $33,689 to $35,310.
