This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Performance Motors Limited (PML), as it celebrates its 45th anniversary of delivering exceptional BMW vehicles and services in Singapore. As part of its celebrations, PML has unveiled its newly transformed flagship showroom at 303 Alexandra Road. It signifies a new chapter for PML in elevating the luxury automotive retail experience with the BMW Retail.Next Concept.

PML's newly designed showroom is the largest BMW Retail.Next facility in Singapore, spanning over 100,000 square feet. The innovative Retail.Next concept seamlessly blends physical and digital spaces to create an immersive and customer-centric environment. From the customer consultation stages and the integrated hospitality spaces to the use of digital technology, the new showroom is built for PML to deliver personalised and curated experiences that redefine what it means to be a BMW owner.

As Mr Lawrence Tan, Managing Director of PML, puts it, “The launch of the PML BMW Retail.Next showroom reflects our commitment to deliver exceptional experiences and deepen our connection with customers across every touchpoint. We aim to make this showroom THE destination for the BMW community, offering a space where customers can not only service their vehicles but also relax and enjoy our brand experience in a lifestyle setting."

The showroom features several industry-firsts by PML. These include a café with the biggest bar counter in a dealership in Singapore, which allows customers to interact with one another or catch up on their work alone. Elevating the culinary experience to a new level, customers can pre-select their preferred breakfast online as part of their service appointment check-in process, to be served at the café upon their arrival for their appointment. 

Enhanced digital experiences for the modern BMW customer

The new showroom also offers an array of digital innovations tailored to enhance customer convenience. Through the SDM SG OneGo App, customers can book service appointments enjoy hassle-free service with the PML key drop-off and collection lockers.

Additionally, a facial recognition system will provide exclusive access to a private lounge for BMW Luxury Class customers, elevating the ownership experience to a whole new level.

Championing sustainability

PML continues to champion sustainability in the new showroom. For example, the electricity consumption of the facility is fully offset by equivalent Renewable Energy Certificates.

It has also implemented green initiatives, by encouraging customers to reduce water wastage by opting out of car washes during servicing or choosing PML Fast Track, which excludes the car wash. Such initiatives have already earned it recognition, such as the overall grand prize at the Polaris Sustainability Awards by BMW Group Asia in 2023.

PML employees play their part as well by participating in tree-planting programmes. PML has now integrated a Sky Garden in encouraging urban farming with edible herbs such as pandan and mint with this showroom transformation, bringing forth a "farm-to-table" concept with its events and F&B offerings. To kick this off, guests at the grand opening were invited to join in the planting of mint at the garden.

To promote eco-friendly driving options, the new facility will showcase a wide range of BMW Electric Vehicles. These vehicles are designed for drivers who want to make a difference without compromising on performance or luxury.

Expanding network, exclusive events and more to elevate the BMW ownership experience

In addition to the new flagship showroom, PML has expanded its service network to serve customers islandwide from the east to the west. This includes a new contactless service centre in Ubi and a service factory in Defu.

PML is more than just a dealership; it also brings the BMW community together.
