March 2019 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Quota Premiums for Cars Continue to Rise

It appears that the Quota Premium for cars is on the upward trend. In the second bidding exercise for March 2019, Cat A closed at $26,659, Cat B finished at $39,401, and Cat E ended at $41,000.

With 2,204 bids received, the Quota Premium (QP) for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) rose by $350, from $26,309 to $26,659.

After receiving 1,878 bids, Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) finished at $39,401, $2,440 higher from $36,961 previously.

For Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus), it went from $27,010 to $27,021, rising slightly by $11.

Cat D (Motorcycles) was the only one that fell. It closed at $3,469, dropping by $133 from $3,602 previously.

Finally, Cat E (Open category) saw the largest increase. It received 730 bids and closed at $41,000, going up by $3,380 from $37,620 previously.
