May 2019 COE Results: Cat A Prices Continue to Surge in Latest Bidding Exercise

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices for Cat A continue to rise in the latest tender for May 2019. Cat A closed at $36,704, Cat B at $48,010, and Cat E at $52,502.

Premiums for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) continued to surge in the latest bidding exercise for May 2019. It received 1,988 bids in total, and saw an increase of $3,505—from $33,199 in the previous exercise to $36,704.

For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it received 1,360 bids and closed at $48,010. It previously closed at $48,000.

Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed the lowest today. With a difference of $3,442, it closed at $28,559, from $32,001 in the previous exercise.

At a modest $100 difference, Cat D (Motorcycles) went down to $3,352, from $3,452.

Last but no least, Cat E (Open category) received 513 bids, and closed at $52,502 — $92 higher from the previous tender of $52,410.
