May 2019 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Premiums Fall Sharply in Latest COE Bidding Exercise

In the second bidding of May 2019, the Quota Premium across all categories end much lower. In this latest exercise, Cat A finished at $27,000, Cat B at $42,564, and Cat E at $47,000.

With 1,799 bids received, the Quota Premium (QP) for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) saw the biggest drop. It went down drastically by $9,704, ending at $27,000.

Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) got 1,407 bids and went down by $5,446, closing at $42,564 from $48,010 previously.

Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed at $27,400 from $28,559 previously, a decrease of $1,159.

Cat D (Motorcycles) went down by $150, from $3,352 to $3,202.

Lastly, Cat E (Open category) received 626 bids and went down by $5,502, ending at $47,000 from $52,502 previously.
