Traffic Police entertains and educates netizens with new Squid Game-inspired PSA
Hot on the heels of the new season of Squid Game, the Singapore Traffic Police put out an inspired public service announcement for road safety.
Using Netflix's hit drama series, Squid Game, as an inspiration, the Singapore Traffic Police created a humorous skit to promote road safety. The video played on the "Red Light, Green Light" game from the show, with a TP officer shown scanning for potential road safety hazards – i.e. people not stopping at the red man.
The video, uploaded to the Singapore Police Force's TikTok and Instagram pages garnered just over a million views, more than 53 thousand likes, and almost 400 comments, many of which are praising the creativity of the Traffic Police's social media and marketing team.
