HMGICS appoints its highest-ranking female executive to date, Chan Min Ling, who heads the centre’s Technology Innovation Group
Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS) diversifies its leadership team with the hiring of Ms Chan Min Ling, an Australian national who has lived here for more than 11 years.
In her new role as vice president, head of HMGICS Technology Innovation Group, she will work closely with the centre’s chief innovation officer Dr Alpesh Patel to continue the organisation’s progress towards future mobility solutions for Singapore, South Korea and the world.
Digitisation is at the heart of their efforts together with other team members - encompassing industrial infrastructure, data integration, all-purpose automation, and intelligent systems. Enhancing operational efficiency is another goal.
Ms Chan brings more than 20 years of automotive expertise and corporate digital-transformation experience to HMGICS. Her career highlights include a key position at Ford Motor Company Asia Pacific, where she managed engineering processes and improved the American automaker’s operations across the region.
“I look forward to accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, redefining smart manufacturing, and contributing to Hyundai Motor Group’s vision towards innovative mobility solutions for the benefit of all,” said Ms Chan.
