August 2019 COE Results: Increased Quota Premiums Across All Categories

In the first bidding exercise for August 2019, COE prices for all categories went up. Cat A closed at $32,725, Cat B at $40,001, and Cat E at $40,512.

Receiving 2,023 bids, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $32,725, a solid $6,058 increase from the last exercise in July.

For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it received 1,487 bids and ended at $40,001—$$595 higher than the previous exercise.

Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed this exercise at $27,800. It went up by $3,201, a significant amount from July.

As for Cat D (Motorcycles), it rose by $846, ending the first COE exercise for August at $4,400.

Last but not least, Cat E (Open category) received 589 bids in total. An increase of $623, it closed at $40,512 for this exercise.
