September 2019 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Premiums for Cars End Slightly Higher
Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices ended mixed in the second and final bidding exercise for September. In this exercise, Cat A closed at $31,759, Cat B at $37,000, and Cat E at $40,000.
With 1,453 bids received, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $31,759, a minute difference of $24 from the last exercise.
For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it received 1,418 bids and closed at $37,000; an increase of $999 from the previous exercise.
Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) also saw a slight increase in COE prices. It closed at $25,556, an increase of $54.
As for Cat D (Motorcycles), it saw the largest drop in this exercise. It fell to $3,601, a $488 drop from the previous bidding exercise.
Lastly, Cat E (Open category) received 632 bids and saw an increase of $2,088. It closed at $40,000.
