October 2019 COE Results: Premiums End Higher Across the Board
Quota Premiums for COE ended higher across the board in the 1st bidding exercise for October 2019. The premiums are: $34,001 for Cat A, $41,361 for Cat B, and $41,001 for Cat E.
With 1,659 bids received, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $34,001. In the last bidding exercise, it closed at $31,759 — a difference of $2,242.
For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it received 1,559 bids and closed at $41,361. At an increase of $4,361, this was the biggest jump in this exercise.
Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed $953 higher than the previous exercise. It closed at $26,509.
As for Cat D (Motorcycles), it closed $199 higher at $3,800 — from $3,601 in the previous exercise.
Lastly, Cat E (Open category) received 601 bids and closed at $41,001, an increase of $1,001 for the last exercise.
