February 2020 COE Results 1st Bidding: Massive Drop in Premiums for Cat A, B and E
In the 1st COE exercise for February, quota premiums dropped for almost all categories. In this exercise, Cat A closed at $30,010, Cat B at $30,890 and Cat E at $34,900.
With 1,204 received bids, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $30,010 — a whole $5,000 decrease from the last bidding in January 2020.
For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it closed at $30,890. It received 1,173 bids in total and closed $6,815 lower.
Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed at $25,013; $12 higher from the previous exercise.
For Cat D (Motorcycles), it dipped lower by $209, closing at $4,401.
Lastly, for Cat E (Open category), it received 525 bids and closed at $34,900, a decrease of $2,600.
