Eleventh-Generation Honda Civic Arrives in Singapore; Priced from S$122,999

Kah Motor has announced the launch of the eleventh-generation Honda Civic, which is built on a sportier, fun-to-drive new chassis, and introduces multiple new Civic-first features and technologies, with advancements in safety features and performance.

We've been anticipating the new Honda Civic for a while now, and Kah Motor, Honda's authorised distributor in Singapore, has just announced its launch on our shores on 12 August 2021.

Here are some key facts about the eleventh-generation Civic:

You can read more about the new Civic's design in our previous coverage of its global launch, but there have been substantial changes to the Civic’s upper body design to maximise visibility for the driver and passengers.

These include moving the front roof pillars rearward relative to the driver, placing them more in the visual periphery, and relocating the side mirrors to the doors for a clearer view through the front side windows.

With a wheelbase that has been extended by 35mm, the result is improved visibility, a more relaxed ride, improved straight-line driving and steering stability. The new Civic also retains the generous rear-seat room of the previous generation car, adding more upper body freedom thanks to the lowered shoulder line.

1.5L Turbo Engine as Standard

The new Civic comes with just one engine choice: a 1.5L VTEC Turbo inline-4 producing a COE CAT A friendly 127hp and 180Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a CVT, with the century sprint timing coming in at 10.7 seconds.

The eleventh-generation Civic comes standard with an upgraded suite of Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive technologies such as Lead Car Departure Notification System and Auto High Beam features.

Multiple new Civic-first technologies are also introduced with the new Civic, including a 7-inch all-digital LCD instrument display, a 9-inch full-HD Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto, wireless Apple Carplay and a wireless charger for smartphones.

Stretching the width of the dash is a honeycomb mesh accent, which serves not only as a design element, but also conceals the visually busy air vents.

The new eleventh-generation Honda Civic starts from S$122,999 (All-New Civic) to S$124,999 (All-New Civic LX). It comes with an exclusive 5-year unlimited mileage warranty offered by Kah Motor.
