Road closures on 9 August 2026 due to SG61 NDP
Several roads around the Kallang area will be closed on 9 August 2026 due to the National Day Parade, so be sure to avoid them.
This year’s National Day parade will be happening in National Stadium at The Kallang on 9 August. The necessary road closures will start on the morning of the country's big day, with almost all the closures starting at 7:00am. Two periphery roads at Tanjong Rhu will be closed from 3:00pm to 11:00pm on 9 August 2026.
Do note that while nearby roads such as Nicoll Highway and Stadium Boulevard will remain open, they will likely have higher traffic levels than normal due to the nearby road closures. Consider avoiding these roads too on the day of the parade.
