You will not be considered as a probation driver as you're not exactly a new driver. The demerit point system is shared across the various classes of vehicles so in the event you get a citation with 8 demerit point while driving a class 4 and 16 demerit point on class 3 which totals up to be 24 points, you will be liable for suspension from all classes of driving.
