Will the mirrors be checked at every periodic inspection? What is the frequency of periodic inspection for HGVs and buses?

The mirrors of HGVs and heavy buses will be checked at every periodic inspection to ensure the mirrors/Fresnel lens and/or other visual devices have been installed and properly maintained. HGVs and buses are subjected to yearly inspections if they are below 10 years of age, and 6-monthly inspections if they are more than 10 years old.
