Is it okay to stop just after the stop line but just before the pedestrian crossing when the traffic light remains green due to congestion ahead across the junction? However, the light turns red after a while.

Hi Lex! Yes, it's generally acceptable to stop just after the stop line but before the pedestrian crossing when the light is green due to traffic congestion. However, ensure you don't block pedestrian traffic or obstruct other vehicles. If the light turns red while waiting, remain stationary until it turns green again.
